Nashville Fire takes part in 24 hours of hockey

NASHVILLE FIRE HOCKEY TAKES PART IN 24 HOURS OF HOCKEY

The Nashville Predators recently hosted a 24 hours of Hockey event at the Bridgestone Arena.The event started with a 2:00pm Preds game versus the Saint Louis Blues. Following the NHL game, the Preds Alumni faced the Blues alumni. The Preds were anchored in net by Firehouse Hockey's own Chris Mason, a former goaltender for the Preds, Blues. Jets and more. After the alumni game the arena hosted dozens more hockey events. These ranged from youth teams to open adult hockey and even beginner hockey clinics. The event also included Hockey Saves and the Nashville Fire Department hockey team. The Nashville Fire Department were even featured in a NHL.Com article about the event, The event was highlighted by Firefighter Nate Renzella's hat trick which caused hats to flurry onto the ice, adding to the big league feel of the event. Firehouse Hockey was there at 6:00 am as the team prepared to take the ice.
