Firehouse Hockey collecting supplies for Wildfire Firefighters

Firehouse hockey will be collecting water, Gatorade, and high energy snacks for East TN firefighting efforts.

Nashville, TN. November 29, 2016– Firehouse Hockey is partnering with Ford Ice Center and musician Jeremy McComb to collect water, Gatorade and high energy snacks to deliver to the firefighters battling fires in East TN.

On Monday November 29th, 2016 wildfires took an unpredictable turn and threatened the cities of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Hundreds of firefighters have been pouring into Sevier and neighboring counties. Firehouse Hockey will be collecting supplies to assist these firefighters.

.From 1:30pm until 5:00pm at Ford Ice Center, Firehouse Hockey is seeking donations of bottled water, Gatorade, or energy bars. Singer Songwriter Jeremy McComb has donated his touring trailer for delivering these much needed supplies. Firehouse Hockey staff and volunteers will transport these goods to East TN as directed by the fire staging areas.  Donations may also be made via PayPal FirehouseHockey@gmail.com . Firehouse hockey is also seeking volunteers at 4:30pm to help load the supplies into trailers.
